The Moon in January

Weather was quite warm this evening (relatively) so I decided to take a crack at shooting the moon. Bit of sharpening and a small contrast boost. Inspired by "Star Gazing" on the BBC.

First try at a moon shot from 2005 Weather was quite warm this evening (relatively) so I decided to take a crack at shooting the moon. Bit of sharpening and a small contrast boost. Inspired by I have no idea what produced this effect (it was not deliberate) but I assume it was a combination of a cheap, small aperture lens and 2 minute exposure.
