Bosherston Lakes (Lily Ponds)

Part of the original Stackpole Estate, the 100 acre lily ponds are an artificial construct started in 1780 and completed by 1860. The site is now owned by the National Trust and run as a wildlife park. Unfortunately Stackpole Court fell into disrepair after the second world war and was demolished in 1963 however many of the outbuildings remain.
