Originally a monastery built in the 6th Century, the remaining ruins date from the 13th and 14th century.<br/><br/>http://http://www.stdavidscathedral.org.uk The ceiling of the central tower of St Davids Cathedral taken fron the choi The ceiling of St Davids cathedral dates from the 16th century and is constructed in a secular type (appropriate for a great hall) with a Renaissance character. The crucifix is a 20th century replacement for the medieval original.
