Block 5 to the left, thanks to Campbell Scott (based there 1958-1960) for letting us know. AWAITING CAPTION Courtesy of Bob Stewart (many thanks Bob): This is a view towards Khormaksar main camp from the "Dhobi Lines" flats. The building on the middle distance is where I lived as a 9 year old. The big roundabout thing centre frame (home of a myriad of stray cats) was opposite the main entrance and guardhouse to the flats. The photo is taken towards the officers flats from the other ranks accommodation, roundabout divided the accommodation otherwise I think flats were the same. Note the flats were outside the main gate to the base and us kids had to walk alongside the road for 100 yards or so to get into the main base and school.
